Who doesn’t love a good acronym when dealing with car repair.  The MAF sensor, or Mass Air Flow sensor, is an important piece of technology that helps determine how much fuel needs to be delivered to the engine.

A proper air and fuel mixture is needed in order to deliver fuel to the engine.  The MAF Sensor calculates the volume, density and temperature in the air and reports them back to your vehicle’s internal computer.  From there, it makes the necessary adjustments to have your engine perform efficiently.

A dysfunctional MAF Sensor could result in direct engine damage and suffering fuel economy.  To ensure that your vehicle’s engine performs to the top of it’s ability, bring it in for an inspection by one of our ACE certified technicians.
